I know I'm new here, and probably shouldn't do this because I could be labeled a troll, but it says "hundreds" becuase 1,200 isn't enough to write "thousands."
2. The headline reads "Hundreds Rally Against Bush Plan"
and the first sentence states "More than 1,200 people gathered in downtown Rochester to protest President Bush’s social security plan." Which is it, "R News...As It Happens"? LOL
10. I listened to a long NPR story about Bush's appearance there--but I had
to turn on Rachel Maddow to hear about the protesters. Later in the morning I heard the local NPR guy saying that their donations are way down--I may write and tell them that I would be inclined to give more if they covered a protest once in a while.
