Its on a liberal website, but just thought you may want to put your input in. By the way, if you could vote on this poll here I would like to know what DU thinks.

1. I would heckle with extreme prejudice.
Put it this way: Why would I NOT heckle a person who is stupid enough to be married to someone as stupid as her husband?

2. NO. I hope I would have personal discipline.
She is a robot taking orders from Darth Rove and George's wife Condi. (I would stay at home and watch reruns of the Andy Griffith Show).

7. Voted yes.
Of course, unless SHE entered MY work/study/personal space/religious building like she did these Muslim women, I wouldn't see her to heckle her because I wouldn't go out of my way to see her.
However, if she and a full entourage busted into my church and disrupted everything, then, hell yeah, I'd heckle the stupid bitch.

10. I would demonstrate against her.
I wouldn't heckle her verbally, but I would hold up placards indicating that she was a moral coward for countenancing the horrific policies her husband has put forth. Probably I'd use Scripture versus or some slogan like "Who would Jesus smear?"

Remember that despite all Laura's supposedly moderating influence, we had to behold the nasty Republican conventioneers with the purple heart Band-Aids last summer. Yeah, the Bush family has sure CHANGED THE TONE -- to absolute vindictiveness.

Basically, I think she's an amazingly hollow figure in terms of accomplishments. The media depict her as basically apolitical and above all devoted to libraries and education. The trouble is, the profiles I've read of her always mention the fact that she dropped librarianship and teaching the moment she married George W. Bush. Make of that what you will.

11. She's an adult...
it doesn't matter that she's Chimp's wife or is supposed to go with the program. Ultimately, she is responsible for what she says and the support she gives to the neo-con's reprehensible agenda. I don't see why she would be off-limits to criticism.

12. It depends.
If she's here to open a new library or something, no. If she's here to tell us more Bush lies, definately yes.

Why should I or any of you care what the nonpolitical and unimportant first lady does?

14. No, asking/stating the truth to her is not heckling
I would (given the chance) talk to her about the war and all of the "good" it has brought about (it's called a pretext) and hopefully elicit some responses from her about it's "positive" aspects with the goal of getting praise for those that are there under her husband*s directive. Then I would ask her since she feels that way would she send Jenna and Not-Jenna? If not why not? And if she falls back to "the decision is theirs not mine so I can't answer that" then I would ask why is she not willing to put her kids where her husband*s mouth is? I would end the exchange with, "Shame on you".
