Poll question: Which bu$hie Might Be Most Likely To "Tell All" Someday, Hopefully Soon?
Weird list, I know, but what the heck? It could happen?

1. If Powell would get some courage, he could lead a GOP revolt against

the Bushistas and NeoCons, who will ultimately kill the party -- if not our entire system.

But Powell has always been a go along to get along kind of "leader."

5. It will never happen.
If he had integrity and the fortitude to do this - he would have done so by publically resigning before being forced to go lie before the UN in February. Remember that secretly wired transcript of a conversation between Powell and Straw - days before his performance - in which both indicate that they are uncomfortable by the flimsiness of evidence and lack of real evidence/intel?

He knew he was lying. He knew a sham was in process.

The stir and PR disaster that would have followed such a resignation would have stalled the war - and might have set off public reaction that prevented it.

If he didn't have that fortitude then. Or he feared losing position in DC, or whatever it was that compelled him to be used in such a way (they sent powell to the UN because of his international image of integrity), at that time, then there is no reason to suspect that he would suddenly become outraged enough now to speak out.

6. Yes, he'd have to get a conscience and a backbone.

But I voted for him anyway because he may want to get even for having to give up his job to Condi.

8. I don't think he was forced out
I think he was fatigued out.

I wish it were he, as he had one of the best seats from which to see the whole shenanigans.

3. Powell will ALWAYS be a good soldier
He has an undeserved reputation for moderation.

13. He and John McCain.
They are just "following orders." They seem to think that carrying out their masters' criminal plans against their own better judgement is supposed to be virtuous. Neither one of them deserves the credit that they get.

4. I voted for Powell...
But I think the one who will most likely talk - especially if he is taken down - is Tom Delay. I don't see him going quietly at all...

9. Yup, I'm waiting for Hot Tub Tom to start squealing like
the little piggie he is. He's got the goods on everybody, and I'm willing to bet he's despised, even by most Republicans. I think our best chance of bringing the whole crime family down is to turn Delay.

They'll probably 'suicide' him first. However, I don't like to see us sidetracked from the efforts to bring down Delay regardless. This is our last, best chance to do it. There is a lot to be sidetracked with but I think he's the key, I really do. Fristula seems to be imploding all on his own.

7. None Of Them Have The Cohones
to do ANYTHING! If Powell was going to "come clean" I think it would have already happened.

He COULD have stopped The Idiot from being re-instated, but kept MUM! He's the only who comes close to divulging and he doesn't have it in him.

I've LOST ALL RESPECT for him. He's a soldier, I was raised as an Army Brat... their code of silence is WORSE than that of the police!

12. there's a chance that George Tenet could be the first
He was hopping mad about having to take the fall for 9/11, especially since he warned Bush and Condi just about every day that summer, but he's probably over it by now, what with his Medal of Honor and all.

14. Colin Powell
But only if he has a severe attack of conscience. Of course, I could just be projecting a sense of decency on him.

15. Any of them would do it. They are conservative and Republican
Betrayal is in their nature.

Find one with enough influence and importance to know the inner workings, and offer them more than they are currently getting to come clean, and they will betray everyone they know.

Its just a matter of finding the right price.
