Harry Reid is speaking now about giving all the POWER to the PRES and the REPUBS -- the part in power.

He said we need checks and balances to keep abuse of power from happening. He is a GOOD SPEAKER!!

1. He's better off the Senate floor

Every time I see him in outdoor settings like this (or even in the halls of Congress), he's so much better than he is on the floor....

3. Can the Dems call for a point of order and ask for a real vote on

the filibuster? That way it would take frist 67 votes to kill the rule that allows filibusters. Rather than wait for frist to give dickless* cheney* the highsign to rule that senate procedures are unconstitutional and allow 51 votes to kill the rule that allows filibusters?

At the very least it would show who supports the Constitution and who hates America.

4. the black robe line was classic

I'm paraphrasing here, but he said that if people want to be scared of someone in a black robe, they should be scared of Darth Vader instead of a Republican Judicial apointee.

He's certainly an intersting guy.
