Robert Wexler?
Sorry, I don't have a link, but I heard on CNN that Wexler was going to "break ranks" with the Dems, with his own SS plan.
Is he going with bu$h on this??? Anybody hear about this?

Wexler would never go with *. He's a good guy.

I think he just wanted to propose raising taxes on people making $90,000 or more a year.

He is just proposing his own plan for increasing taxes by 3% on those making more than 90,000 per yr.

3. He is not going with Bush
but he is breaking ranks with the Dems, no question about that. They have all said that they would not sit at the table and propose something until Bush takes Private Accounts off the table.

He did, because he chickened out and was afraid that Dems would be blamed for not presenting anything. Too bad he did not have the nerves to wait.

6. Yes, he put forth his own plan for changing SS
which takes away the cap on taxable earnings.

There has been some talk about this in RW blogs and media, but the DNC and LW blogs haven't talked about it.

He submitted the plan on Friday I believe.
