1. Right on.
We need to wait until Sunday to get an idea of what's really happening, though.

5. People sign up for e-mails, I think.
Some people sign up just to find out more about the candidates, but still, that's an impressive number.

Now we just have to see if it translates into votes.

4. Dean is doing a great job of energizing the base.
Hopefully his supporters stay on even if he doesn't capture the nomination. We'll need their support in Nov. if we wanna get this Ahole out of the WH.

40. Exactly Bull....and think of those Fundie Repukes who defended
the Gropenator despite his past behavior. And of course the media just laughed it off and said oh, those are allegations. Funny how when it's a Dem each and every allegation must be put under a microscope.

11. It's true there is a little counter on the side that keeps up with number
people that have pledged to support Dean. At the beginning of the week we were just under 600,000 now we are over 609,000.

32. I have 3 websites with 3 counters
and I can make those counters read any number I want them to read, take that and those that did support dean in the beginning that have moved on but still recieve e-mail notices, then factor in those that make pledges that in reality have no idea what pledge really means (I have better things to do today) and deans real numbers while great mean very little in the real world.

And then there were none!

is wondering why you have the answesr to the problem, all the money, and the media tells you you must be crazy to want to change things.

Or too mad. Tsk Tsk.

21. Personally
I want Howard Dean to pack his suitcase and go home to VT asap. No tv cameras. Just go back to his loving family.

The finale needs to be the top three, Kerry, Clark, Edwards.

Don't be surprised if that happens.

17. Ha ha....great,take that Whore TV
I am soooooo FUCKING sick of the way that Dean has been pounded over this. I got the Dean E-Mail with the Diane Sawyer interview and its here we GD go again. "Oh....Howard Dean, this is the kind of thing that can hurt you as a candidate."

Bite my ass Diane! An impassioned speech with loud talking and a yeahaa and the end can hurt a campaign?? That's only in the last few years when Republican owned media has completely taken over the airwaves. Dean's the front runner,so now we'll do ANYTHING no matter how trivial to destroy him.

If Kerry thinks they'll lay off of him because of his record in the Military he has another think a comin'

30. Chimpy got elected because
he was the conduit through which the corporate facists saw that they could loot the US Treasury and set themselves up to be able to continue the looting for years to come. His "image" is whatever the whore media wants it to be.

If America refuses to elect Dean solely because he and his wife aren't "flashy" enough and don't fit some media-prescribed image of American royalty, then we deserve four more years of Bushco and all that entails.

39. Yep, it's a pity. But that's part of what your country is... Won't change
over night. It's pitifull that so much emphasis is put on the prospective First Lady. Your country fought to get rid of the King but still the president and his wife have a "royal" status. Quite ironic isn't it?

43. What we actually
fought to escape was autocratic rule. Unfortunately a lot of contemporary Americans would rather abdicate their power to another authority with an expectation that they can avoid responsibility for their own choices and put the blame elsewhere.

26. I don't like watching abuse
I am very anti-violence. He has made enough $$ for the media, entertained the pundits long enough. The DLC has spoken and chosen. I respect and admire everything about Howard and Judy Dean.

They don't deserve this. A lot more work needs to be done at the Grassroots level before someone like HD can be elected in this country. Sorry, Slink.

33. Amen
I'll pack up my support for Mr. Dean when he decides it's time for him to pack. I still support what he stands for and what he says. To those who think he saps votes and energy from others, I like to think of what Nader said when he was accused of taking votes away from Gore: he said something to the effect of "Gore took votes away from me". I was a Gore supporter, by the way. I don't want a quitter for my candidate. Go Howard!

38. This is nothing compared to what he and his family went through in 2000
Just hang in there. Dean can overcome anything thrown in his way. So can we. And don't forget...NH LOVES to undo what Iowa does at primary time. Dean thought about all the consequences of running and discussed it with his family before entering the race. If the family couldn't handle it, he would not be in the race. Hang tough, because that's what the Deans are doing.

44. NH is one step on a long road...I am a Dean supporter....he may not
win NH....but he has to come in at least 3 again. He is doing good damage control so far...the video posted here yesterday from someone at the rally gives the correct perspective on his speech.

The media is doing their best to ruin him. Funny...I thought shrub wanted to run against him.

My main issue on a long list of issues, is the invasion of Iraq and what it has done to our country. Dean address my concerns and has since I heard him last spring.
