2. I caught part of it
He said that the WH is telling the Senate what to do. He was talking about the compromise and said that Rove told the repukes that they didn't want any kind of compromise they wanted the whole thing. He said that this was taking over the business that was before the Senate and how they should be doing something about Healthcare and pension loses.

4. I heard that earlier on the news. WH doesn't want a compromise.
The entire point is to abolish the filibuster so that only 50 votes (+ Cheney)are needed when Supreme Court positions open up.

6. Debate may begin tomorrow or Wednesday when Frist brings up Rogers
or Owens for a cloture vote. Speculation is that the "nukular" option trigger will not be pulled--the actual vote until next week.
