It's easy for the U.S. to militarily invade a weaker country.

When you are the strongest country militarily in
the world, it's easy to be the bully, invade another on
whims just because. Easy to kill the "other"
just because they are in the way of your agenda,
easy to dismiss others who disagree...it's the
bully's way, not the way of grace, God or humanity.

It's not the way to build bridges, understanding,
agreements. Who gives one country control over
another? It's not the way and we know what the
way is.

It's the way of the bully.

1. bully
It's becoming less and less easy, as other countries (notably Brazil, Russia, India and China) line up to protect the next perceived victim. Bullies are only effective when they are perceived to be invincible.

2. Other countries are smart to line up against us
it seems to be the only way to counter
Bush Inc.'s actions.

3. It's easy to invade a country
but when the people of that country are resistant to subjugation, it becomes hard to occupy it. The inability to build bridges and create understanding and justice WILL come right back to us...and it will not be pleasant. To every reaction, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Bullies AlWAYS get back what they put out.

5. True!
Yes, America is the most powerful nation on the face of the earth. We, right now, are effectively innvinceable. Few counries have the strengh to even stand up to us, and our attitude reflects this. We have grown more and more arrogent, though the ones who tend to be the arrogent ones are the republicans in a vain attempt to seem relivent. Though both parties have shown some that is a little more than the standard arrogence that infect society, via the media, and holding a position of power. Someone has to stand up and say that this needs to change. In the age of globalization it is imparitve that countries work together to not fall under the lurring sway of the global corperations who can simply move if a country proves too intrusive into its power.
Besides lucrative defence department contracts have seen to that there is more to the American military than meets the eye through Black Projects.

6. We're really not as strong as the collective junta thinks.
Can't really use nuclear weapons without turning the entire world on us....and what would be the point anyway? We still have to survive in this world afterwards.

And our conventional forces are proving to be well mired in Iraq. I recall that they didn't have really much of an army after DS1. Yet, we're pretty well bogged down in Iraq, safe only in our fotresses. And how long is that sensitive equipment going to hold out? Bush has proven to the world how foolish, weak, and naive the Republican braintrust is. None ever fought in a war....how would they know how to conduct one? Perhaps if they had done a tour or 2 in Viet Nam, they'd have acquired the wisdom that this was a failed and flawed idea from the day PNAC envisioned a "New Pearl Harbor".

Thing is, we let Big Oil take over our government...started more than 40 years ago. Now we have its political product: the dumbest, most pampered, most hubristic fool presiding over the destruction of this country. He's rendered the country in half, like nothing since our last civil war. For what?

Perhaps this is how it needs to end. Pushing hundreds of billions of dollars, that we don't have, into the oil fired furnace in Iraq. Destroying the country from within and from without. It's almost comical how sucessful he has been on his hellbent mission to see this country totally wasted. And no sane person(s) in Congress dare to stop Mr. Cockobanana's grand parade on the road to oblivion.....

Bush's legacy will be well deserved. In less than 1 decade, he will leave behind a completely busted country: morally, financially, ethically, and militarilly.

Tell me again, George, after all the warnings of impending attack - why your 1st thought was "that was one terrible pilot" who hit the WTC?

In a just world, you'd be awaiting your sentencing for treason against the American people.

7. Recruitment is down42%. Who's going to fight our new wars?
And our Dollar's almost non-existent. How much longer can it float?

The Neo-Con's are living in a time-warp. If the economy crashes, and job dwindle (as they already are), where will the tax money come from to fund their wars? Certainly NOT from the non-existent salaries of unemployed workers.

With our National Guard abroad and depleted, who will defend OUR shores if we're invaded from abroad, OR within?

Reality-Check, folks! Reality-Check! America's an aging bully who's gotta quit picking fights we haven't the strength to win. We're wearing ourselves out continually swinging at all the boogeymen of fear we project everywhere we look. And that IS precisely what our enemies hope and patiently wait for.

11. For Bush's Handlers, It's All Business
Iraq was never anything but a war to gain control of some of the world's most valuable oil reserves. Too bad that the potential benefactors of Bush's mad little commercial venture will never have to pay the tab for this investment. That is an honor being left for the gullible citizens of the U.S., both civilian and military.

There are many poor countries who exist with the curse of existing with no truly valuable natural resources. But in the era of Bush and his militarily enabled investors, perhaps that isn't such a bad thing.
