the Party of "NO"
Edited on Sat May-14-05 07:59 PM by welshTerrier2
the Republicans have a little campaign going on right now to label the Democrats as the Party of "NO" ...

i think the label is a great idea but perhaps they haven't analyzed the situation clearly enough ... i think they may have stuck the label on the wrong party ... to that end, let's provide a little education for these misguided souls ... please help make the list as long as possible ...

3. Ted Kennedy spoke at the Mass Dem convention today
and he said that it looks like Otis AFB will maintain is current levels and that there is even talk of enlarging Hanscom Field ... both are located in Massachusetts ...

but you're right to point out that, overall, the base closings are mostly in the north and northeast ...

5. Embrace it. "Just say no" to GOP destruction of our country.
We should embrace it and have fun with it. Nothing will get their goat more if we AGREE with them.

8. "NO" I think that label will work for us!
Let them call us the party of NO. I think lots of people would love to know that someone is saying "NO" to Bush.

I think we should embrace the 'no'.
