3. Clark is still my candidate
If someone else gets the nomination, I will vote for them in November. But unless or until Clark drops out of the race, I will continue to support him.

4. I was on the fence between Dean and Kucinich now its Dean
Kucinch's throwing support to Edwards actually indicated to me that Dennis' believes his ideas are less like Dean's. So Dennis solved my problem in an up-side-down sort of way.

5. I am for ABB
The reason is that I think that Bush and his supporters are destroying the constitution of the United States.

I don't think I have the luxury of voting for anyone but a Democrat.

11. Conclusion about this poll
Fact:
> 90% of DUers say they are still with their original choice for the nomination

Analysis:
DUers are engaged, well informed, and pretty much set in their beliefs. Arguments right now aren't going to get us to switch.

Supposition:
While DU does not represent the country or the Democratic Party in our beliefs, our behavior patterns are typical for the hardcore base of the party. That is, people who are engaged and informed like we are already in the game and backing who we are going to back. Thus, the people who are going to commit to candidates from here on out are people who are not the base.

Extrapolation:
The committed citizens of the country hae made their choices. The base has spoken. New support will come from voters who are less doctrinaire; in other words, swing voters will hold the balance in this coming election.

Cheap shot:
Running for the base rather than for the swing is a flawed strategy.

Plug:
Eat a Clark Bar!

15. Still supporting Dean.
I'm not about to support anyone who supported the war. It's that simple.
