4. Now talking of SS. Do Dems just have to stop saying NO and come up
with a plan for SS? This is the question.

3. He just wants to get to know the people he will be browbeating.
It's more effective that way.

6. I agree with Duffy. I think Bolton will be confirmed even if
there's not a recommendation from the Foreign Relations Committee.

You can count on a few so-called Dems voting for Bolton.

This vote is going to be held on Thursday right? Damn, I'll be in Ireland with no access to a computer or the internet.

7. I don't know if Bolton will be confirmed or not, but if he is, it could be
another bad thing for Shrub! People like Bolton never change, and as Ambassador to the UN, he actions will be fairly high profile. When he tries his bullying tactics there, the bad reflection will go all the way back the ShrubCo because of the hard fight they're putting on now.

9. JB's role at the UN will be to discredit that body as it votes to condemn
the US and Israel for launching an aggressive, preemptive attack on Iran. He'll then announce that the US suspends its membership and is expelling "hostile" representatives.

He's the perfect UNdiplomat for that attack dog role.

10. I think so, too. The AMerican people will NOT appreciate Bolton's bullying
ways which will be on greater display at the UN and which will prompt greater scrutiny, at least from the international media.

11. If approved, it means several things....
Edited on Sun May-08-05 11:13 AM by higher class
all of those who vote for him are approving an extension of the stplan to takeover the Middle East. It will be his role to facilitate the takeover and cripple the U.N.

It will also mean that the ascendency of the right wing agenda is still on the rise. In spite of lies, a disaster of death, and no guarantee that the corporations involved are going to get the oil that belongs to the people of Iraq....every person who votes for this is voting for more death, lies, destruction, and theft. He's the man.

Our memories were just refreshed - the plan to take Iraq was planned by the UK and the US many months before the kick-off. This administration was forced into going to the Senate and the U.N. The U.S. and UK were not truthful with the U.N. We haven't heard anything yet. He is not a boy scout...he will cause war.

12. Please. Could be smoke and mirrors. You know..wearing down the
resolve of people who know you are a freak and do not belong in any job of importance by making them think it is a done deal.

This is all so much propaganda.

IMHO
