thinking of Dem unity and demonstrations
A couple of threads here came together in my head this morning.

I see calls for unity among Dems which I take to mean that some of us should put on the back burner part of what we believe in so that as a group we have as large a base as possible.

And then there is the tread about how and what we do to make things happen.

Putting the two together reminds me that the demonstration that got the most coverage and put the idea out there to stop covering demonstrations was the one at the Democratic convention in Chicago and the trails of the Chicago Seven.

You know, it's OK to demonstrate against our own party if we feel it isn't on the right track. I don't know were I'm going with this other than this, the man isn't just the right.
