What new "runaway" press story will distract the masses?
From the real issues of Bush's lies,
on Iraq,
the corruption,
of our the emerging fascist state?

Oklahoma bombing?
A Kennedy family story?

Our "runaway press" really is starting to look like a runaway bride.

3. They've stooped so low with the bride story, anything is possible.
A cute kittie stuck in a tree? Why not? The masses LOVE cats!

9. They'll have a cute photo-op of Bill Frist saving it.
But they won't show you him dissecting it an hour later.

4. And may I add, distract DU?
It is inevitable it will happen. Let's try to focus on issues with greater significance.

If you are compelled to add a new post about a "topic du jour", PLEASE instead apend to an existing thread.

8. When it happens, as it inevitably will, I'm sure all of DU will be most
grateful if you could list issues in order of significance for us. This way we will all know what it is we should try to be focusing on.

7. How about a round of "good economic news"?
About how well the economy is doing, how all these jobs are being created out of the thin air.

10. I don't know, but I've noticed that the RW talk radio shills...
have been spending an awful lot of time lately on stories supporting their "decay of American society" angle (i.e. runaway bride, Fl. abortion case, disobeying school children, etc.). They're not touching Iraq, or any foreign policy issues for that matter, with a 10 ft. poll.
