Rethugs recruiting generals for Congress (Vermont & Florida)

VT - Both Dems and rethugs had been heavily recruiting head of Vt. National Guard Major General Martha Rainville – she has announced that she will run as a rethug.

Florida - Talk that rethugs will be running Tommy Franks for the Senate.

Don't they know they are qualified to run for the WH automatically? ;-)

2. Of course they are

because they're all equally qualified.

They've all been NATO Supreme Allied Commander, and held a fractious 19-nation coalition together while fighting continually with the Pentagon and DoD over the wisdom of an air campaign solely as opposed to the option of a ground war, all the while--as CinC of the European Command--successfully administering an 89-country territory that extended from The Netherlands to South Africa.

They're all Rhodes Scholars with Master's degrees from Oxford in econ, philosophy and political science, and they all taught those subjects as assistant professors at West Point, and they all went on to work in the OMB.

Oh yeah--West Point! Forgot to mention they're all West Pointers who graduated first in their respective classes.

And Tommy Franks is especially qualified, since he was just as successful in catching his boogey man as anyone else you can think of, and Osama bin Forgotten inhabits the cell right next to Slobodan Milosevic.

And last and definitely most important, they all look simply yummy in a Speedo.
