"Reverend" Pat To Support Giuliani? WTF!
Sorry POS!

Christian Coalition founder Pat Robertson raised eyebrows on Sunday when he heaped praise on former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, saying he'd make "a good president" despite his liberal positions on gay rights and abortion.

Asked if Giuliani would be an acceptable 2008 presidential candidate to Christian conservatives, Robertson told ABC's "This Week:" "He did a super job running the city of New York and I think he'd make a good president."

"I like him a lot - although he doesn't share my particular point of view on social issues," Robertson explained, before calling the twice-divorced Giuliani "a very dedicated Catholic."

Can he make up his damn mind? Fundy or corporate? A or B?

2. Well, any bishops going to withhold communion from Rudy?
No, because HE DOESN'T GO TO CHURCH AND DOESN'T CARE.

4. Hey Rudy, why weren't you in the Emergency Operations Center in WTC7
on 9/11?

Oh, and Pat? Fuck you with a big old splintery baseball bat, you anti-Jesus puke.

5. Well...
He did say he'd support Giuliani if he got the nomination. He also said George Allen and Sam Brownback would be good Presidents. He said there's no way he'd vote for John McCain, and that he doesn't see Frist as a President.

10. The far right HATES McCain
And you pretty much nailed it in your post. He thinks for himself, and doesn't represent the interest of the fundies. He'd win with over 60% of the vote against everyone but our absolute best candidate, but he'd never get the nomination, because the far rate HATES McCain.

I'm kind of surprised the fundies want to throw their support behind Giuliani, too. 9/11 blinders? I don't think he stands much of a chance, either. But who knows?

7. That probably made Frist cringe
If Guiliani were to get even a little RW support, he will sail to the GOP nomination. I actually hope that Frist, Allen, or Brownback get the nomination--they are fairly weak candidates. Guiliani or McCain would be formidable nationally.

12. Hypocricy of the highest degree
If you hear Pat Robertson talking, abortion is the main reason he can't stand Democrats and the left.

This is just proof to me (not that I needed any) that he's a tool of the corporations. When are these Christians going to wake up and realize they're being used as pawns in a financial game?
