Colmes thinks Coulter's McVeigh remarks were "some of her greatest stuff"
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,154024,00.html

COULTER: Well, on my Web page, I have shown what the Time magazine cover of Hillary Clinton would look like with a similar fish-eye lens, as well as a photo of the photo editor at Time magazine.

COLMES: I thought they gave some of your kinder quotes in there — not some of your biggest hits, you know, like, "I think a baseball bat's the most effective ways to go after liberals;" you only regret that Timothy McVeigh — here on the anniversary, by the way, of the Oklahoma bombing — did not go to The New York Times building. They left that stuff out. Isn't that some of your greatest stuff?

COULTER: As I told you, I haven't read the article and I'm not going to. I'm in a perfectly good mood. I don't want to read it and get ticked off, and have it be ruined.

COULTER: I have gotten mixed reviews. But I must say, either it's accurate, and I don't really need to read it. I am the world's foremost authority on Ann Coulter. I don't like to brag about that. Or it's inaccurate, and it's just going to ruin my mood. So you know, I saw the photo. That's enough for me. And I think there are probably more cover photos with Bill Clinton. I mean, to make that comparison...

7. It sounds like he was calling it offensive
You know, "some of your 'greatest hits'" ie, your most reprehensible stuff. It kind of loses something in print--not that I saw it.

Anyways, I think its way weirder like shes acting like the Time article was somehow hostile. I've never seen any mainstream outlet be any kinder to her. It's like she'd rather be seen as persecuted than as respected.

18. I've seen it many times with it--sarcasm is completely lost to it.
It wouldn't know sarcasm if it bit off it's nose.

9. Mayhaps he was trying to be funny?
"Greatest stuff" might be a euphemism for "most famous and most outrageous s#!^ you've spewed to date"

10. I believe Mr. Colmes was employing
sarcasm in the quote. Notice the word "kinder". Coulter either didn't catch it or decided to ignore it. Just MHO.

11. I tend to agree...
...and I think that Man Coulter is so wrapped up in her own little world that she just didn't catch it.

If anyone believes that she didn't read the Time article, please PM me immediately regarding some great investment property in Florida. Not a swamp. Honest.

12. I thought only GOPers lacked a sense of humor.
That's often the trouble with sarcasm, especially taken out of context, in writing you sometimes lose the effect.
