He used dirty tricks to get the Senate and to get elected in the first place.
He was extremely patronizing
He was misguided
He was cruel towards women, children and minorities, as evidenced by his programs.

Actually, I can't think of anything about him that I particularly liked. He made possible the hideous mess we are stuck with now.
