I just saw Frist preaching to the converted on the NYT frontpage

It caused me to utter words I do not usually use in front of my child. He said "Mom, why did you call that man a 'jackass.'" I used the A word. Then we had a fun and interesting discussion about the fine old tradition of filibusters, how the Reps want to do away with any last vestiges of dissenting opinion and how evil the Reps were to forget about the separation of church and state.

I ranted the whole way home from the store where I saw the NYT.
