No one is protesting the war anymore -- Fox news
My Gym has several TV sets on several channels. I saw a piece on Fox around noon today that said basically, the war protesters have gotten used to the idea that there will be casualties and aren't protesting any more.

I seem to remember massive protests on the second anniversary of the war. Tens of thousands of protesters.

Does this mean that if Fox doesn't report it, it didn't happen?

What else are they not reporting or lying about?

Maybe I am appalled because I don't normally tune to that channel; I haven't numbed myself to their form of lies.
How can they get away with such blatant lies? Isn't there some kind of truth in broadcasting law? Don't they have some kind of legal responsibility to be honest with their viewers?

8. You have to leave the Iraqis with some type of peace. As to
whether the US gets to keep a base there.. I'll protest that!

The discussion on this board is about when to exit eh? Isn't that what we discuss here day in day out?

My answer was to the Faux News Freepers who would take the lack of demonstrations to be some sort of support for pre-emptive lying wars.

2. Huh?
I heard Terri Schiavo starved to death and the pope died and some bad people are trying to take down Michael Jackson. Is there a war going on somewhere? :sarcasm:

3. Nobody on their STAFF is protesting the war anymore.
They had an intern that wouldn't wear the lapel pin.

Ok, maybe not, but that's the only way they'd be telling the truth.

5. Gee, when we protest, it's "get over it"
Now they want us to protest? I'm confused.

But I still protest the war, every day. I guess because I don't do it in front of Faux cameras, it doesn't happen.

6. unfortunately the fact that we believe in the truth in broadcasting laws
is why we are where we are today. We got to where we knew that if someone reported a lie, they would be sued, so for the most part, the news was reliable. We just didn't notice when that changed. The sheeple still believe in "truth in boradcasting"

Where the hell did it go? And how can we make the people understand that the news is not really the news now? I mean SNL's Not Ready for Prime Time News, gives us more accurate news than our supposedly ready for prime time news does.

9. We need to hold the anti war protests
outside of faux news stations in every city in the country.
Maybe if you get in their faces they will admit the protests are real.

10. Fox believes the war has ended---" Mission Accomplished"- Remember?
Our President told us it's over already wearing his nifty flight suit on that aircraft carrier. Oh and as for the 110,000+ people we've murdered and who continue to die in Iraq and the 1600+ of our kids killed and thousands more wounded (never mind the major emotional damage they are dealing with when they return), that's all a mirage. Fox knows it all- they have the inside scoop to "Fair and Balanced" news!

11. Bush had nothing to do with that banners placement
The Navy Sailors did put up the MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! banner of their own volition. However the SS did take down a second accompanying banner that said, NOW WHAT DUMBASS?, shortly before the presses arrival.
