the public. This bill is so obscene even Bush wants to change it. If there was ever any doubt in the Freepers' minds (assuming they have one) about exactly what the Republicans stand for, this ought to tell them. A tax windfall for the industry already gouging us at the pumps AND at a time of record DEFICITS and credit/banking industry usuary.

How do you like Bush now dimwits?

1. There was a comment on Air America Radio...
...so before someone replies "LINK?"...there is no link...

that Bush ADMITTED that the energy companies DID NOT NEED tax breaks, and this energy bill WOULD NOT BRING PRICES DOWN at the pump.

It was said during a news / commercial break today on AAR.

So what we have accomplished is that God's Little Chosen Prince has given YET ANOTHER cash bonus to his "base."

Oh, JOY.

JOB WELL DONE, BITCH.

4. This bill will NOT pass the Senate
as it is currently constructed. If they insist on including ANWR, I'm reasonably certain that the Democrats will kill the bill.
