How we talk and write is more critical than ever.


mainstream media = corporate media or corporate owned media

taxes = investments in America's future

christian right = not christian and not right. WWJD? Jesus was a liberal.

tax cuts = birth tax (costs of tax cut placed future generations)

pro choice = pro personal reproductive rights

gun control = responsible gun ownership (it is not responsible to own certain guns)

anti-war = war only as a last resort because we care about our troops

They are Anti-Choice. Everytime I hear a progressive use the term "Pro-Life" I shake my head at the squandered opportunity to call them what they are.

If they were truly "Pro-Life" they'd be beating down the White House gates with pitchforks and torches.
