Can I ask an embarrassing question? (re: socks in *'s pants)
Edited on Sat Apr-16-05 09:10 AM by TwoSparkles
I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this, but what the hey---

I've seen a few references about Junior stuffing socks in his pants. A couple of people seemed to be discussing a certain picture of Junior.

Is this just an silly off-hand comment with no meaning, or did I REALLY miss something?

1. they are talking about
the "mission accomplished" stunt where Shrub flew to the aircraft carrier and was photographed wearing a flight suit. It appeared that the crotch area was stuffed with socks.

5. Well, that would explain the faces he makes all the time
I would probably make those faces too, if I had an armadillo in my pants.

Mystery solved.

4. Maybe it wasn't socks?
Remember Spinal Tap?

Spinal Tap A to Zed

Zucchini: The vegetable wrapped with foil by roadie Moke during the 1982 tour so that Derek could put the expand back in his Spandex. ("It's not a cucumber," Derek has pointed out. "A cucumber is all pimply.") Using a vegetable to enhance Derek’s "power zone," as David has noted, "was certainly less painful than collagen." Derek considers the vegetable a sort of "trouser make-up," and Nigel calls it "Trouser Helper." Arsenio Hall once asked if the ladies have ever been disappointed to learn the bulge is a zucchini. "No," said Derek. "They have their choice." Derek also told Arsenio that to avoid any future airport mishaps, he now wraps the zucchini in the same material the Pentagon uses to coat the Stealth bomber. See also Penis.

8. With all this stuff about the new morality the women may
have to go back to wearing chastity belts - locked on by their significant others.

15. Bush's flight: triumph or turbulence?

The president's 'Top Gun' act won't fly
By Cynthia Tucker - ATLANTA CONSTITUTION
The Tallahassee Democrat - 5-12-03

http://www.tallahassee.com/mld/democrat/news/opinion/5826643.htm

Bush not only wanted the footage to burnish his image as a successful commander in chief but also to remind voters of his brief experience as a pilot in the Air National Guard. Insinuating himself into the ranks of combat-hardened veterans, Bush, who sat in the co-pilot's seat of the S-3B Viking, told reporters, "Yes, I flew it."
