Barbara Olson, Laura Ingraham and the usual parade of clowns have published their little screeds, generally with unflattering pictures of La Rodham Clinton, in past years. They've been doing this sort of stuff for the worst part of a dozen years.

I'm sure they'll do what they can against her this time, and the Swift Boat slime has surely made the right wing feel like God. UH-OH. Can you say "comeuppance"?

I'm not saying that the slime doesn't work, but the fact that the right wing is so in love with its power suggests to me that when they get their comeuppance, it's going to be especially ugly.

Maybe they'll all just keep each other company in hell or something, but still, I hope we all live to see them in the Joe McCarthy moments.
