My impressions of the Fox NH debate...

I think Kerry was the winner here. I'm not exactly a Kerry fan, but he managed to create a very positive image that he would fight for the middle class and do what was right. He never did answer the patriot act and IWR issues to my satisfaction though.

Dean... Dean was almost funny to watch. He's reinvented his campaign and it just made me crack up to hear it. Gone is the democrat-bashing firebrand, here now is the fiscally conservative successful governor. His message shifted completely after Iowa.

Clark demonstrated a rapier wit and was quick, focused and intense. He just oozes leadership and intelligence. My only disappointment was him declining to nail Bush to the wall over his NG service and wishy washy answer over his lobbying.

Kucinich... I don't think he can win, but I just love this guy. He's passionate and I get the sense he's an honest fighter for what he believes in. I agreed with stance on outsourcing 110%, and it's good to see someone finally get balls to stand against it. I don't agree with him on everything he talked about, but I very much respect him for being honest and direct.

Edwards... disappointing IMO. I don't recall any of his responses being especially strong.

Al Sharpton... I agree with Al on few issues, but I just love to listen to this guy. He speaks very well and I appreciate his viewpoint and humor he interjects into things.

Lieberman: Wow, he's a little too right-wing for me. I sometimes had to look and make sure this was a democratic debate. I'm not exactly sure why Lieberman isn't a republican from what he said up there.

3. Why I hate Peter Jennings

Jennings has a reputation from the right that he is a flaming liberal. He sounded like a long lost brother of Tom DeCay tonight. Did you see him sitting there like the grand gop inquisitor, acting like these pretenders to the throne would dare question King George.

The way he posed his question to Clark. "General, why did not you distance yourself from this "controversial" movie maker Michael Moore who would dare question our president's military record?"

You know why he's doing it, Jennings is scared of the right. He knows they call him names. Well now the left should too after that disgraceful performance.

I wish we had a real press. Who wrote these asinine questions, Ed Gillespie?

Anybody notice the bad lighting highlighted everybody's wrinkles, or maybe it was just my set?

4. Another potential Democrat who is scared of right wingers so he changes

What Democrat have we seen lately that doesn't start crying when being whipped by the Republicans for being too "liberal" so he decides that he's going to move further right than Fred Phelps.

When I say "he", it's just because of Jennings. This also applies to our esteemed female Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, who took the same bait when the right wing media started calling her "too liberal'.

Democrats let Republicans define them and put them in their place.

Jennings has no credibility and no identity. He is whatever his masters on the right tell him to be.

Those on the left just don't have any fight in them for some reason. Hopefully the next generation will be better, but with the current media, it might be worse.

I have not seen even ONE, since they are not really debates, and the massive egos of the "questioners" and the quantities of candidates , make the whole thing silly..

It strikes me as odd that every time I do hear of one, it seems to have been hosted by FOX.. I guess their soundbyte/embarrassing film clip collection was in need of some new ones for Rove to craft into commercials for the fall election:(..

I am very suspicious of anything they do..:(

I was disappointed in Clark's performance. Granted, the questions he got sucked, but still I was disappointed.

I was impressed by Edwards and Kerry.
