3. Really?
I think this program has exposed bush and rove for what they are. I say kudos to PBS. Rove and company are hanging themselves by their own noose with their obvious arrogance. At least I hope so.

Oh fuck, who am I kidding?

conservatives claim to serve. Rove knows everyone's strength and that is what he attacks and not their weakness (really). In Kerry it is said he attacked Kerry's strength of Military service. LORD/ANYONE when will you deliver us from this evil?

8. KR's "strength" is in promoting division, fraud, cynicism, greed & hatred
The only way I know to attack that strength is to expose it publicly to the light of day.

How anyone can sing this man's praises while professing to love God is beyond blasphemy. It's an abomination to God and true human beings everywhere.

IMHO, this "person" stopped acting like a human being long ago and if he isn't sociopathic, I don't know who is.

7. Anyone who watches, listenes to, or reads the words and "vision" or Rove
who tells me that they still don't believe in LIHOP (at the very least) apparently isn't paying attention.

That creepy motherfucker is always talking about his determination to establish "permenant GOP supremacy" and how he is willing to take whatever measures are necessary.

For example, Newsweek did a story on him a few months ago in which he pretty much admitted (boasted) that he will do anything to advance his guys, and keep them in power.

Anything? Like, maybe, knowingly allow a terror attack so he can exploit it for years afterward?

9. Rove tactics: Attack, lie, distort, promote homophobia, cater to low road
I thought it as a good Frontline. Those that thought it was promoting Rove TOTALLY missed the point. Rove's legacy as an Atwater-based master of lies and distortions is well documented.

And yes, it made me seriously sick to my stomach. Rove and his minions are truly disgusting, immoral people.

Dear FRONTLINE,

Wonderful program on Karl Rove and the new republican majority.
I could not help but think of Lee atwater and his final regrets
before he died of cancer and his apology for the Wille horton
ads that sank Dukakis and wonder if the stench of this tatic
against gays might play out in a similar way. I predict that
the sexual issue will come back to haunt them someday. Perhaps
this is what Nietzsche meant the will to power is having no
moral scrubles in a fight, which hardly seems like a Christian
message finally but a lesson in fascism. Hatred of blacks,
homosexuals have been used as political wedge issues before
and will be again but the sly way Rove uses this tatic underscore his shame in using it. I have no doubt that the
sexual proclivities of all right wingers will be an interesting
topic for the next four years. I can't wait.

Dear FRONTLINE,

The genius of Karl Rove is that he can manipulate people who really don't understand politics or the larger issues of this country. This includes not only the electorate who voted for Bush but the President himself.

Dear FRONTLINE,

This broadcast was one of the most realistic and sinister depictions of the mechanics of the Bush Administration. Although I commend Rove on his political genius in pulling off the impossible, in the re-election of George W. Bush, I condemn him for his cruel exploitation of gay people to win campaigns.

Well done broadcast, PBS.

17. I caught
the last 40 mins or so...

I agree with a few others though that it made me somewhat sick watching it.

It showed Rove to be an ass hole through and through...His gay bashing seems to go back many years...and so does his modus operandi or having surrogate groups bash your opponent (Swift Vets).

I had to change it, and I had already read Bush's Brain last year. NOVA was great though. If there's other life "out there," for the lOve of God I wish they'd come help us.

20. I didn't make it through.
I just...ack...so nausiated now. It was the revisitation of the last election day specifically that just killed me. Frontline did its best to poke between-the-lines jabs at the ultra-new-and-improved "We Won Even Though The Exit Polls Said Otherwise At First And We'll Even Admit We Were Pessimistic That Morning" Republican scam story, but it wasn't enough for me. Just. Too. Grotesque. The level of gleeful triumph over the success of their fraud on the faces of those thug fascists has made my night from hell (ex-boyfriend aggro) even worse. I did catch the last two seconds, though: "Karl Rove declined to interviewed for this program." Barf.

21. "Karl Rove declined to interviewed for this program..." Yup...
I found that kind of ironic too.

I do think it made the RePukes look much better that they deserved.:evilfrown:

The Question I have is, do KKKarls minions believe the crap they spew, or do they know too, that what really saved this "victory" was Computer Fraud and "Jim Crow" style tactics?
