1. Charles Shumer NY Dem, 204/214 of judges approved

2. Schumer told Fox they were debating apples and oranges-Senate has

right to bring up the vote (up or down) but they also have the right to debate (the filabuster). Shumer is education Fox (actully Fox tried to use a selective statement from Schumer from past years).

3. well well, Fox asked--Didn't you (Repug) block a number of judicial

nominations?--asked the Right guy this twice --but still did not get an answer. Sorry, i am waiting to see who the "right guy is.

4. Fox trying to say that the litmus test is abortion but Schumer corrected

Fox by saying-No, 91 % of allready Bush approved nominations were pro-life. te he!!

5. Right guy is saying the quotes (from Schumer) are taken out of context.

6. upcoming discussion (after commer) will focus on the 'nuclear option"

except of course if he votes wrong on any single issue he will be bashed mercilessly here.

9. I agree, there is too much bashing of Dems just cause they disagree

with single issues.

10. John Coroyn (? sp), Repub. Tx is on the Right. Asks should judges

substituting thier will for the will of Congress or the American people-it is question asked for 200 years he says.

11. I get the impression that the Dems do NOT have the votes to avoid

the nuclear option. Schumer said that the Repugs are under tremendous presure not to side with the Dems.

12. and another thought: Would Frist even bring up the nuck option if he

know he would lose? I do not think he will risk it.
