I launched my site today hoping it will inform more of my classmates and anyone in particular. I would really really appreciate donations even if its just $1.00 it will all add up.

Over the past couple weeks I have been in some major debates with my opponent who is running a normal conservative smear tactic that I am not experienced enough to be class President. I turned the table on her when I proved she didnt have a plan for our schools budget crisis.

I tried to spread the word about how our current budget and more cutbacks will effect my fellow peers. I have been trying to save up some money to make stickers off of makestickers.com. I am also trying to buy a banner that says Corey Baker for President on it ut we'll see.

1. Ok, you asked

You need an editor, badly. No, not an HTML editor, a good, old fashioned, real person to proofread and edit. You capitalize things that shouldn't be capitalized. You spelled sufficient wrong. The grammar needs tightening. That sort of thing matters a lot when you are running for office, you want people to take you seriously. It matters doubly so when it's for Class President at a high school.

Also, what DO you intend to do about the budget issue? As Class President you will be pretty powerless to do much, unless high schools have changed a lot since I went there.

Also, web sites done on places like Tripod always seem amateurish and well, cheesy. Does your ISP offer any free hosting? Many do, at least for low bandwidth sites like yours. The advantage is that you might be able to ditch all the ads etc that Tripod throws on there.

That's the negative, now the positive. It takes guts to do what you're doing, I applaud that. Don't get discouraged, even if you lose. Such races are more so than most just popularity contests; being new in town will hurt you a good deal. Stay liberal, stay focused, stay energized, and keep working.

You are a very bright kid, and have a lot lot offer. Try to come up with some ideas for fundraisers, and other activities that will raise money to aid the budget crisis. Have a plan, and solutions to back it up. There are a lot of ways for school groups to earn money. Be ready to have some strategies to present.

Don't let the opposition pull a Rove on you. Be ready to put on the gloves if need be.

Most importantly, have a sense of humor. Being funny and likable can help a lot in battling the "new kid syndrome."
