2. kick. great idea by JC. I love proactive legislators.
I hope he accomplishes good things. I admire people like Conyers, Kerry and Boxer (and others) who reach out to people for input and initiative. We need more of it.

I left comments to JC. Election reform is the single most important reform. It's the first domino. Without better, more honest and transparent election processes that force some integrity and accountability into DC. Nothing will truly, majorly change for the better.

8. My comments
Comment #108: XXXXX XXXXXXXX said on 3/28/05 @ 11:32pm ET...

Dear Mr. Conyers,

President Bush could not have gotten more votes than there were voters in several precints and counties in Ohio. That would be impossible. It is my belief that the Central tabulators are where the vote switching took place. After all, how would anyone even know ?

Karl Rove had a room full of computers set up. He had to know how many votes they needed to switch to illegally win. If you noticed the Blue states were not called until very late because they had to switch the totals.

I commend you sir for taking this task to heart and helping to save our Democracy from the Military Industrial Complex war criminals we now have occupying the White House. Thank you sir.

9. Is that true about the blue states?
Interesting. I didn't know that. I knew about the computers from that photo but not about the blue states. Huh. I didn't stay up for the whole thing since they weren't going to know that evening who "won."

11. Yes it is.
Ohio was "Too close to call" until last. They had to know how many votes to switch.

10. Thanks for bringing the link to this forum!!
I saw the link in 2004ER&D forum, but my guess is that not enough people check in there to keep up. All of the debates over which candidates we should support are meaningless until we take back the electoral process. God bless Rep.ConyersO8)
