Fundie "thinkers" have asked repub officials to defy courts for years.
Question is whether Jeb will simply order troopers to defy court orders and kidnap Terri Schiavo.

The fundies have been suggesting that public officials use "civil disobedience" to simply ignore courts for years.

Check out the final sentence in this paragraph from a dude who came THISCLOSE to having a permanent job as a supreme court justice.

"Only a change in our institutional arrangements can halt the transformation of our society and culture by judges. Decisions of courts might be made subject to modification or reversal by majority vote of the Senate and the House of Representatives. Alternatively, courts might be deprived of the power of constitutional review. Either of those solutions would require a constitutional amendment.
Perhaps an elected official will one day simply refuse to comply with a Supreme Court decision." Robert assHat Bork,
Our Judicial Oligarchy (1996)

And the best part is, Bork just lets the last sentence drop. What happens after the elected official refuses court orders? As Bork implies, the court's cease to be respected and the elected official does as he pleases. Amazingly enough, Bork simply assumes that the official is doing something good and proper instead of just, say, fixing an election, declaring an illegal war, or kidnapping a woman in PSV.

And William Bennett is suggesting that Jeb practice civil disobedience.

Will Jeb finally put the nail in the coffin of an independent judiciary, as Bork hopes? We'll see.

2. And they wonder why Bork the Dork wasn't confirmed.
It isn't just about politics or revenge. Sometimes the confirmation process is about doing the right thing.

4. just posted this at my blog
Time to show you where these people want to go. They want to destroy the judiciary. This is Bork on an independent judiciary.

Our Judicial Oligarchy (1996)

They hate an independent judiciary and this is why this case is an attack on her, and an attack on American Institutions. They have served us well for over two hundred and seventy years, but it seems they really don't care about this.

Now for a current view on this insanity read this:

“Governor Jeb Bush may find it difficult to protect Terri's rights without risking impeachment. But in the great American experiment in republican government, much is demanded of those who are charged with protecting the rights of the people. Governor Bush pledged to uphold the Florida constitution as he understands it, not as it is understood by some Florida judges. He is the rightful representative of the people of Florida and he is the chief executive, in whom the power is vested to execute the law and protect the rights of citizens. He should use that power to protect Terri's natural right to live, and he should do so now.”
http://www.nationalreview.com/script/printpage.asp?ref=/comment/bennet_kennedy200503240814.asp

Is Bennet encouraging the Governor of Florida to break the law? Of course he is, as this is a direct attack on the judiciary.

This is what this is all about, how to destroy the independent judiciary. They hate this independence for it has prevented them from turning this country into a new fascist state. Oh and by the way, the second Schiavo Bill has been rejected. Oh and her parents have filed with the courts once again.

Read bellow about Dominionist and how this is leading us straight to hell.
