7. I've always believed he is part of Operation Mockingbird with CIA
Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 05:17 PM by EVDebs
ties. If this is in fact true, then elements inside the CIA itself may have wanted to discredit Joseph Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame. As a violation of the 1982 Intelligence Identities Protection Act, the fact that the President himself must annually discuss his actions to prevent disclosures -- See www.fas.org/irp/offdocs/laws/iipa.html

"SEC. 603. <50 U.S.C. 423> (a) The President, after receiving information from the Director of Central Intelligence, shall submit to the congressional intelligence committees an annual report on measures to protect the identities of covert agents, and on any other matter relevant to the protection of the identities of covert agents. The date for the submittal of the report shall be the date provided in section 507.

(b) The report described in subsection (a) shall be exempt from any requirement for publication or disclosure." and

"SEC. 605. <50 U.S.C. 425> Nothing in this title may be construed as authority to withhold information from the Congress or from a committee of either House of Congress."

If Novak is a part of an insiders plan to discredit Ms. Plame/Mrs. Wilson, then any information relative to HIS employment with the intelligence community, especially via Operation Mockingbird, becomes very relevent.

Judith Miller's NYTimes willingness to promote the CIA/DoD-Office of Special Plans fictions relative to WMDs also begs certain questions, along with the current discrediting of Ahmed Chalabi's spying for Iran.

BTW, 'CNN and PsyOps' by Alexander Cockburn www.counterpunch.org/cnnpsyops.html
shows that CNN will indeed cooperate with intelligence. CNN is an employer of Robert Novak...

Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 05:56 PM by frankly_fedup2
well, and I'm not violent and really try not to hope bad things for bad people.

We're not violent, we just have strong convictions.

Regarding Novak, on the "LINK" channel which shows political documentaries and news casts from all over the world had a documentary on called Bush's Brain. It was a documentary on guess who?? Yep, Carl Rove.

In the documentary (I wished I had of recorded it. I guess I could find out if I could buy it), it talked about how Rove had worked for Poppy Bush during his administration. There was a leak of some rather sensitive information, and Poppy Bush fired Rove.

The information that was leaked was published by Novak.

I looked everywhere on line for some information about this but couldn't find anything. However, I distinctly remember this part of the documentary.

After hearing that, I had no doubt who leaked the Valerie Plame information. Do any of you???

22. Novak is now an Opus Dei member....
according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Novak

"Novak has strong conservative views, yet does not strongly identify with the current direction of the Republican Party. Like Pat Buchanan, he is ideologically similar to what many call a paleoconservative. Born Jewish, Novak lost his faith in college but converted to Catholicism in 1998. He is a member of the Catholic organisation Opus Dei."

He joins fellow traitor, the FBI spy Robert Hanssen, as an Opus Dei member. Along the same faith-line the CIA origins with a multitude of Knights of Malta members ("Wild Bill" Donovan, James Jesus Angleton, etc.) leads me to believe there is a bit of a rightwing cult having far too much influence over our so-called intelligence establishment for its, and the country's, own good.
