There was a query by 'paineinthearse' on 2-24 as to whether there was still a toll-free number for the U.S. Capitol Switchboard. The old number (or the particular one I was using) was removed from service recently without any new number listed. But a google search rewarded me with a working number: 1-877-762-8762.
