If I were like Terri, I would not want my family all up in my face like th
gawd, I love my family, but I don't want them in my face. the way they invade her personal space is sick. They get right up nose to nose and mess with her hair and slather all over her
I get the impression she wouldn't let them that close when she was alive. So do they now force themselves because they can?
1. They selected that part of the video because when her mother
gets nose-to-nose with her, you can't tell that Terri is not looking at her. They also like that particular little clip because it makes it look as if Terri is smiling. The truth is that she has that expression most of the time. If you watch the clips carefully (and there aren't very many of them), you'll see Mrs. Schindler do what she can to make it look as if Terri is actually looking at her.
3. Right. I doubt she would like it. But I doubt that any
bright woman would like any of this. Her husband tried to stop it, but her parents wouldn't listen. They sneaked a tape recorder into her room just days ago, I think.
Their suffering is no worse than the rest of us who has had to stop letting medicine intervene and let the loved one go on. I had to see it first hand with a 38 year old brother in-law. It still hurts, but it was what had to be done with no chance of recovery.
