Got outrage?
The fascist rightwingers who barged into a private family matter of life and death were just trying to "err on the side of life" according to their spiritual guru, George W. Bush. Almost a blood-draining comment considering the wicked lack of respect for life these people display day after pitiful day.

While Dr. HMO Senator Frist diagnosed Ms. Schiavo via a video, an agonized father sobbed over the murder of his daughter at the hands of a known sex offender. As Speaker Hastert led the march of the House Purists, a forgotten fifteen year old from the Red Lake Indian Reservation languished in despair over his tattered, shattered life. Not so much as a whisper...What about the children?...as the media circus with their millionaire ringmasters highlighted Terri 24/7 under their big tent. It DOES take a village, but not in America, where those in power are so busy protecting corporations they have no time to consider the children. The pathetic wrinkle in all this is that we`re told it`s a Superior Red State of Mind and God approves. Who in the name of sanity are we?

This administration has failed. Not just a couple little bitty mistakes, but a giant stinking mess. They should forget the God talk. The spreadin` democracy talk. The moral high ground talk. Instead, they should hang their heads in shame...in full view of the citizens they`ve used and abused...then march on out of Washington, en masse, to some consulting firm in Houston. As far as I`m concerned, this is the lowest point in our nation`s history, where evil is wrapped in a flag and praised by some alien Republican God. A pro-torture Republican God. Heaven help us.

Today, I made a mistake and punched in the number for MSNBC (instead of C-Span) on my remote. There, in all her glory, was rightwing Monica Crowley, co-host of a show with Ron Reagan. Ms. Crowley was discussing Jeff Weise, the troubled fifteen year old who caused the Red Lake tragedy. She suggested that someone should have been "packing some heat" so they could "take him out", another sign of Republican`s eagerness to err on the side of life. I couldn`t help but wonder what might have happened if the Life Lovers had given Jeff Weise 1/10 the attention given to Ms. Schiavo.

1. Don't forget the little Hudson baby in Houston
You know the one where the Hospital pulled the plug against mother's wishes. The law signed by GWB that allowed it.

2. Thank you and I agree. Nominated, BUT
did you wait to hear Ron Reagan's rebuttal to Monica Crowley? 'Cause I didn't tune in.

5. No I didn`t.
After seeing Crowley frothing I had to get on out of there because I wasn`t wearing a helmet or any other protective gear.

3. Re: Red Lake: Doesn't she know that they had a security guard there?

And that the kid was wearing a bullet proof vest? Christ, why can't we just treat people better so they don't feel like life is a hopeless and futile exercise?

(Sorry, I posted too quickly by mistake.)
The media has really ticked me off more than usual lately. Congress is ignoring the real problems they could actually do something about if they would only meet and discuss them instead of steroids in baseball and T. Schiavo.
