Bush speaks with forked tongue. what else is new?

Seems to me but a couple of weeks ago our Fearless Leader stated that it was wrong for the government to be paying journalists to secretly promoted, for pay, government programs that needed to be pumped up. Our programs, he said, must stand on their own two feet, or so I remember it.
Now, wasn't it just a week or so ago that the little man announced he would be campaigning around the country for the next two months, trying to breathe life into his still-born social security hoax.
Am I hallucinating here, or what?
