I find it very humorous to hear the media declare dean finished
Despite him polling second in NH. If dean is finished where does that put clark edwards and lieberman? Past finished?

I guess acording to the media Kerry is our nominee we might as well just forget about voting cause everyone else is finished.

5. Kerry still is toast
he has nothing going after NH. I am almost positive he is not staying in the race.

7. But he's polling 1st in New Hampshire
if you're going to apply that kind of logic to one canidate you have to apply it to them all.

20. Ches have you ever heard of momentum
If he wins NH which I think he stands a good chance on, he will have momentum going in to other states. I believe only once has someone won the nomination after losing Iowa and NH, that was McGovern I believe. No I am not saying Dean is McGovern, I am merely saying chances are that if Kerry wins NH, he'll be the nom. I dont think Dean is finished, far from it, NH and the february primaries will determine these questions.

4. The media has had it in for Dean for months
I hope it backfires on them. Bites them in the ass. Interesting that the media has done all it can do to defeat Dean in the primaries and then will probably do all it can to elect Bush in November.

Edited on Thu Jan-22-04 05:15 PM by Egnever
When dean said he would dismantle the media conglomerates. They have been after him ever since with a vengance. I think the execs heard that and said WOA we gotta stop this guy.

15. Absolutley
Forget the scream, forget the capture of Saddam, you are exactly right. It was after Dean singled out Newscorp as a particular example of a media monoply he would break up that the gloves came off.

10. You're stating something not yet in evidence
The media isn't declaring him finished, they're declaring him having plummeted, but everybody knows that his cash keeps him in the top tier

14. Yeah, who has said Dean's finished?
I haven't seen one say he was, did I miss something. Dean's money alone keeps him in the race.

22. Lots of people
1. It was because he was a small gov from VT and nobody knows his name.
2. It's because he opposed the war which makes him the next McGovern and unelectable.
3. His support would fade as soon as we finished fighting and WMD sprout forth from the sands like oil.
4. He sucked on Tim Russerts show.
5. The "confederate flag" flap.
6. He didn't acknowledge that catching Saddam made the US 39% safer and more shiny.

At least that was their midday question of the day : "Is Howard Dean now a joke?". Viewers responses were then read.

24. Losers squat on big butts while our guys hump to improve USA
and the world.
They make me sick with their snide and cruel "in" jokes, sarcasm and mocking, sophomoric humor. This applies to bloggers, TV sneerer's with their pancake make-up and coiffed hair-do's and the fetid print media hiding their ugly mugs behind their worthless and cruel columns.
Most despicable Fathead Matthews, pinhead Fineman and no heads Imus Novak. EEEEEOOOWWWWWW!
P.S. And *yes*... I'm "telling you how I REALLY feel"...

to carry enough momentum into the midwest and west.

But I agree with you--fuck what the media says. Look at the calandar and make up your own mind.
