Dean's success or failure depends on his supporters...
Watching the good Doctor on C-SPAN, I see that his followers are still loyal and supportive of his efforts. If the word gets out to all his supporters that they really need to stand together, Dean could be the Comeback Kid in NH. The trick is to get the word to his supporters.

This is not impossible. If each Dean supporter passed the word to another Dean supporter, they could consolidate their positions and still surprise in NH, in my opinion. But it is really up to the supporters. Are they ready to gather their forces and fight or are they ready to split off and leave the battle when they are most needed?

1. That's what Dean's saying over and over in this meeting.
He truly needs EVERYONE'S vote. No one can sit back.

Later.

4. This is the key...
from what I see from his supporters there in NH? If they stay on the ship, they could turn the entire race upside down.

7. Absolutely.
The straight truth, right there. Stay the course, and this race will have officially gone crazy.

Later.

3. I think Dean supporters really do know that
Dean supporters understand the need for perserverance....and we've got all the passion in the world. Most real Dean supporters won't be going anywhere.

5. Exactly, and some of us
well, me, maybe someone else, already once left Dean as a supporter but had my loyalty re-earned. As someone goaded me today in my email, "Dean is like Slim Pickens riding the H-bomb." Well, *I'm* like Slim, and if Dean is a bomb, so be it. I've made my choice and I'm sticking to it to either the glorious end or the bitter end. Obviously, I'm hoping for the former.

Many of the "I was a Dean supporter, but" posts remind me of the "I'm a democrat, but" posts.

10. They sure do
I think that some of Dean's support was rather shallow and was people attracted to the annointed winner. This is the crowd now scurrying to Kerry and Edwards. Next week, a lot of them will probably be headed somewhere else.
But the real hardcore Dean People; we are are serious about changing the party and the country, not just the occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and I don't think we're going to fade away just because we're no longer the cool kids.

That is pretty much how it works.

11. My advice to NH Dean supporters is bring someone to the polls
Dean placed 3rd in Iowa not because he didn't have support among people living there, but because people didn't show up.
