Wal-Mart, Dollar Rattle Billionaire Ranks
(could this be the tipping point to force * to care about the falling Dollar?)

Thu Mar 10, 2005 11:48 PM ET

By Emily Chasan

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Four heirs to Wal-Mart Stores Inc. founder Sam Walton dropped out of the Forbes Magazine's top 10 list of the world's billionaires in 2004, brought down by the retailer's stagnating shares.

They were largely replaced by businessmen from other regions of the world, who benefited in part from the impact of the weak dollar.

Wal-Mart Chairman S. Robson Walton, with a personal wealth of $18.3 billion, was the only Walton to make the top 10 this year after several years in which all five Waltons made the cut.

Slow growth and a bevy of legal problems at the retail behemoth has prompted a 10.8 percent decline in Wal-Mart's stock price since March 2004, cutting the personal wealth of Walton's five heirs by almost $2 billion each.

2. Its their own fault
They're engineering their own distruction. Unfortunatly they're bringing the rest of us down with them, only we take the plunge faster and land harder.

3. Boycott while vulnerable.

Boycotts are usually fruitless efforts, but not when the stock is volatile.

5. Wal-Mart must DIE!!!!
MONEY SPENT AT WAL-MART KILLS
GOD'S UNBORN CHILDREN!!!

Get some of those bloody posters that the Anti-Choice crowd uses to picket Planned Parenthood, and use them to picket Wally World.

Wal-Mart supports
COMMUNIST DICTATORS!!!

I’m absolutely PRO-CHOICE, but think the Fundies need to face this hypocrisy.

Will the Fundies stand on Moral Values when their wallet is threatened?
Only immoral people (Communist abortion lovers) shop at Wal-Mart!

6. AWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
Tough shit!

I'm going to do my part to see that they don't make it back on that list. As of about 3 weeks ago, I'm officially a WalMart-free shopper. This was done in part to try to break wtih the "red" companies and "BUYBLUE". But what pushed me over the line is the continual assault to which their employees are subjected.

7. It could not have happened to a more deserving group of ....
...self-centered, selfish, humanitarian loathing and politically corrupt family members. They ask every one of their employees if they love Wal-Mart, but never ever tell their employees how much they loath them!
