2. I heard him this morning
on his weekly radio address. He said something likle "the people of Lebanon watched the free elections in Iraq and now they want democracy too" or some such thing.

This guy is so far out of touch his claims could only be convincing to a 6 year old, if that.

3. A case of willful denial. How about a little "democracy" here at home
before we start spreading it around the world at the "point of a gun."

When citizens cannot trust their votes have been counted accurately and voter suppression is rampant, a country cannot consider themselves to be a democratic government--they are a democracy in name only.

Protestors wave Lebanese flags in a central Beirut square, Lebanon, Tuesday March 8, 2005. Hundred of thousands pro-Syrian protesters gathered, chanting anti-American slogans and wildly waving Lebanon's flag in answer to a nationwide call by the militant Shiite Muslim Hezbollah group to demonstrate against foreign intervention and counter weeks of massive anti-Syrian rallies. 11. Bush is all of a sudden a mideast expert...
and his loyal followers will follow him into God-knows-what kind of conflict in Syria and/or Iran. Did he even know there was a country named Syria until the last few years?? Can he or his followers even point to Syria on a map??

And now they are experts.

Propaganda is such an amazing tool.

12. Look at your army & your bank account, Moron, and shut up!!!
We don't have the army left to do squat and we are bankrupting our country dumping endless wads of money into that black hole called Iraq. Now, before some country up and punches us in the nose and some bigger country than we wish backs them up, I'd suggest that you SHUT THE FUCK UP, Bush.

13. LOL! CNN is re-running Bush quote "All the world is witnessing..."
"...your desire for freedom." Then showing the Syrian protest in Lebanon.

14. Oops, I gave CNN too much credit.
Now the commentator is trying to belittle the protest. "Sure, lots of people turned out, but sometimes people turn out without even know what they're protesting."

15. OMG what an idiot
Of course they know what they're protesting! "America is the source of terrorism" and "All our disasters are from America". And that is TRUE.

16. They would never say that
about last weeks anti-Syrian protests.

Looks like a LOT more people are at this one.
Even if they say the people were "forced or tricked" into attending, that's a lot of people that would be "forced or tricked" into becoming insurgents (read: freedom fighters)

17. CNN is a bit off. Peoples in these countries are very much aware
of what is going on in their countries. The people who can be lead, tricked, snookered, and bullshitted into anything (i.e, the bogus Iraq war) reside in the US of A and watch CNN and other propaganda feeders.
