I Have A Dumb Question - Is Gannon Still Working In the WH?....

Is he still getting a day pass and getting in or did they throw him out totally? If they threw him out - on what basis - if they felt he was rightfully there in the first place? If he is still there - isn't he neutralized? Everyone would be watching for him to pitch * a softball question and call him on it. Sorry for being so dumb - but I don't know how this story kinda ended. Help!!!!

3. What Was His Reason for Quitting?

Too much attention.... worried that he would be found out..... If the WH thought he was there legimately - why didn't they urge him to stay. Wouldn't that have justified the WH's point of view .... that it was ok for him to be there in the first place. Letting him quit and not urging him to stay - speaks volumes.

5. Several things happened

1. He quit as "reporter" for Talon News - so hasnt/couldnt apply for day-pass.

2. Talon News shut down to " re-evaluate their value prop" or some other b/s

7. Appears To Be A Big Scramble To Bail Out.......

If everything was so legitimate till he got found out - why the bailing now? Why quit as a reporter if you considered yourself legitimate and the WH considered you legit? Why did Talon shut down? Could it be they really weren't a bonifide news org and just a front. Sounds fishy to me. Just like those movies where a guy goes to hustling bustling office one day and transact business - only to go back the next and find them gone - office furniture, telephones and all. I suppose in a few days you won't be able to find Gannon or the Talon News honcho's anywhere.
