13. Geez this is a deja vu moment

Back before we actually bombed Iraq I got some stupid RW e-mail from a cousin about not forgetting 9/11 and yada, yada Saddam blah blah. I wrote back and "replied to all" that Iraq had nothing ,nada, zip, zilch, zero to do with 9/11. That 15 of the hijackers were Saudis and NONE were Iraqis.


Well, one of the people who got my response e-mailed me back and told me she hoped she would see my face on TV as a human shield in Iraq and GODBLESSAMERICAANDGEORGEBUSH and if I was so smart why wasn't I president of the United States. I guess she assumed that one must be smart to be president of the United States.

So I e-mailed her back: How sweet, someone disagrees with you and you wish them dead. Nice. I pointed out that that was the whole problem with Rwers, they couldn't handle a dissenting opinion, except wish that all who did would die. So much for polite discourse.

Guess she's a speech writer now for this crackpot.

That's a distinct possibility for me. Gibbons turned down a chance to run, and fail, against Harry Reid last year in preference to an open governors race in 2006. If Gibbons decides to run, he will be a heavy favorite unless Las Vegas celebrity mayor Oscar Goodman, a Democrat with a surreal 80+% approval rating in Clark County, also enters the race.
