Anyone else watching the CSPAN 2 debate on Kennedy amendment?

It's so heartbreaking to watch Kennedy and Durbin giving truth and pleading for congress to protect "the people" when we all know the Repubs will vote en masse to pass it's bankruptcy legislation without amendments requested by Dems.

Yesterday, Dems couldn't even protect Natl Guard serving in Iraq from bankruptcy while serving!

You know, what we really need is a political magazine doing photos and in depth coverage of politicians in the same way PEOPLE magazine does the stars. So many Americans know little to nothing about what's going on.

2. Maybe, but it didn't seem to gear up enough "public" interest -

To appeal to 'the masses' -- it might have to be marketed like some sort of National Enquirer or Star.

SURELY Guckert/Gannon was an opportunity to start putting the sex, lies and videotape of politicians into the checkout lines!
