Governor Dean in Mississippi tomorrow
Not shying away from any Red States, Governor Dean is on the way to Jackson Mississippi tomorrow night. Asked what the Democrats biggest challenge in state's like Mississippi was, The good doctor said, OVERCOMING THE REPUBLICAN PROPOGANDA MACHINE. The governor added, he thinks its disrespectful for Democrats not to come to Mississippi and talk about our issues. Can I get an Amen!!

2. It's common practice to refer to a former governor as
"governor" as a sign of respect.

I'm looking foward to seeing Doctor Governor Dean tomorrow.

3. It's a popular term of respect.
Much like giving the title of "President" to Bill Clinton.

4. No he is not still governor,
but it is still appropiate to call him governor.

5. I think he uses that mostly.
I believe he is called that almost exclusively now.

6. You call them by the highest office they attained
Unless they currently hold office in another capacity.

So Hubert Humphrey for example was Vice President Humphrey until he was elected to the Senate again.

7. If you contest all 435 seats...
...you're bound to pick up a few. That just makes sense.
