Katherine Harris on SS: 'Not in support or nonsupport column'
"You can't put me in the support column or the nonsupport (column)," said Rep. Katherine Harris, R-Fla. "I have to know what the solution is before I can make an intelligent opinion about it."

Alright! Us Floridians may have some lovin' from the Secretary of State that screwed us over in 2000. As John Snow admitted on Fox News Sunday on Dec. 19th <1> <2> 'there is no detailed plan' on social security. According to the Washington Post <3>, many constituents of Republicans and the Republicans themselves in Congress are doubtful of this plan. Some of the major moderate GOPers may have just pulled out the rug on *. As Rep. Tom Cole 's constituents tell him: "Now don't you go supporting him automatically just because you're a Republican and he's a Republican. Remember, you represent us." Now, ain't that the truth.

1. Bush's SS plan is DOA
If Katherine Harris isn't on the bandwagon, what hope does he have?
Even Pfizer pulled out of his corporate coalition on the issue.

Pretty soon there's going to be nobody left but Bush, Santorum and the Swift Boat Liars.

3. Agreed. Another thing John Snow pointed out..
is that this SS plan won't likely be off 'n running until the END OF 2005. Why promote a plan for a full year if you're not even going to have full support?

Horrible marketing for *. HORRIBLE.

4. NGU = Never Give Up or Non-Gonococcal Urethritis?
They both fit Katherine Harris perfectly.

5. She's A Congresscon from Florida...
...that knows even appearing to support Granny Basher Bush on this one would be political suicide in her state.

6. "intelligent?" "intelligent?" Did Harris say, "intelligent?"
Holy crapola! Since when is Katherine Harris "intelligent?" Talk about self-aggrandizement! Cunning and coy, yes. Morally corrupt, yes. But "intelligent?" That low-life?

8. "I have to know..."
"...what the solution is before I can make an intelligent opinion about it."

I imagine that even then it might be difficult.
