How come the Phelps clan "God Hates Fags" aren't picketing the White House
Just wondering? Shouldn't the Gannon/Guckert affair send them into a tizzy?

1. I heard those people "God Hates Fags" people on the radio once
They are truly psycho. They probably do believe that Bush is a bleeding heart liberal who is too "soft" on gays. Seriously.

3. as Mepublican usual: it aint wrong if'n WE'uns do it.
as long as the person is a republican, somehow its A-OK.

Although I would like to say that there is nothing in my mind wrong with being gay, I"m referring to how in THEIR minds, they find it an abomination, UNLESS the person is also republican...or something like that.

5. Generally, they like to picket the funerals of Gays.......
especially those who died of AIDS or as a result of Hate Crimes.

6. It's possible that there is hidden concern and anger.
Could be a "we stay quiet and you owe us big next time" sort of thing. Big religion has gotten to where it can dangle their votes to get their agenda's pushed through the White House.

8. They're probably busy picketing elsewhere!
And this particular group really is just a small band of loonies, not a powerful group. Their only power comes from the attorneys in their family, who have used their legal expertise to ensure they can continue harrassing people. (For example, they convinced a court they could legally send harrassing faxes. )

So I doubt there's any hidden message behind their not picketing the WH. They still don't like Bush. They're not even Republicans. I think they must be a species of their own.

11. What's the connection?
I thought the big scandal is that Gannon/Guckert got a WH press pass when he shouldn't have, and he lobbed some softballs to the president.

What does his sex life have to do with that?

12. He "shouldn't have" because he was a male prostitute not a journalist.
It was his ACTUAL BUSINESS life and not his sex life as the right clings to like a security blanket.

Anyone know if he was being paid 200.00 and hour for his "journalism" by anyone in the WH?

13. It's also the height of hypocracy that such an anti-gay admin would...
have a gay hooker as a press corp ringer with no journalistic credentials. It's funny in a sad, ironic way.
