Just saw the ad. Now will it interfere with the debates or come afterward?

OK, maybe they aren't going with her. But I bet this was scheduled today.

5. LOL
He's going to try to imitate Clinton. How cute. He and his wife can hold hands, while he professes his complete mental stability, and she tells the world what a great husband and father he is. Maybe he'll say something like, 'I've caused pain in my political party, but it's a private thing, to be worked out between me and the Bush-lite, Washington insider Democrats who voted for George Bush's war,' while his wife looks on and smiles approvingly.

Stole his campaign from McCain. His slogan from Wellstone. His style from PT Barnum. His clothes from the Salvation Army. Why not steal this from Clinton?

8. Not for me it ain't.
How in the world someone could mistake genuine amusement for bitterness is beyond me, but then, anyone who mistook Howard Dean for a real candidate could do anything.

23. You mean like
I voted for the war. I was against the war. I'm for the war. I'm against the war. I'm for the war. That kind of repositioning?

15. The "slogan" was originally from a Cal. State Senator
Dean started using the slogan very early after this state senator endorsed Dean. Wellstone had "borrowed" the slogan from her long after she first started using it.

I think it's fair for the author to give the license for a slogan to others to use when the author endorses, don't you?

I don't watch much network programming (or TV at all, for that matter), so I wouldn't have known about it.

12. It should be helpful
But what he really needs to do is get on some national tv show, and address the speech in a lighthearted way. Yes, I'm saying do a Hugh Grant. It really does help.

19. Good news
The Deans are nice people. The press has been unfair. No other candidate is getting any scrutiny compared to Dean. I hope they do well. Am looking foward to seeing it. And yes, The Clintons went on 60 Minutes in '92 in a famous interview which may have saved Clinton in NH.

25. My gut reaction
initially, is that this is a good idea. Dean needs to be softened and personalized in the eyes of the public, and he and Judy are great together. Judy comes across as quiet, smart, and NICE.

However, it's Diane Sawyer. Gag. I can't stand her. She will undoubtedly delve into every nook and cranny of their personal lives.

It's a risk, but all in all, I'm glad they're doing it.
