1. Talon was an LLC not a real corporation so the salaries aren't
going to be a matter of public record.

4. I think I read that he got a stipend, but didn't say how much.
And, if you know anything about stipends, they ususally aren't much.

3. Last Froomkin col in WaPo said he was a volunteer
for Talon. That doesn't mean nobody paid him, right?

Also, one of the reasons he was denied a Congressional pass was that he couldn't prove that Talon was his main source of income.

So, what was his main source of income?

5. It costs quite a bit I would imagine to lead the 'Washington Beureau
Chief" lifestyle. How did he get his money?

...and why wasn't he paying his back tax bill of $20,000?

A tax cheating professional male prostitute, with a one weekend $50 journalist/propaganda cover, managed to reach the highest levels of power and have intimate inside information on national policy and exclusive administration intentions...under an alias.

6. I sometimes even wonder
if he went through the $50 nonsense thing.

8. Was he paid in drugs, like most prostitutes?
Edited on Mon Feb-21-05 07:50 PM by Dr Fate
Or perhaps not at all?

I saw a documentary where protitutes dont really get paid- they have to turn all of their "grip" over to their "pimps"- who merely provide the prostitute with living expenses and drugs.

This is Gannon's sorid world of "pimps", insider-journalists, shady web pornographers, "Johns", Drug-dealers, pay-offs, black-mail and D.C. Republicans.

9. I think he was paid by the White House.
More specifically by the White House Iraq Group. Probably with taxpayer money.

10. Depends on the trick. Usually $200/hr or $1200/weekend.
That was his going rate for his true profession. The press room gig was probably gratis. Think of it as business development.
