Poll question: Were in involved in a 2004 pres. campaign? Would you do be involved in 08?

Question 1 Did you volunteer or were involved in anyway in a 2004 presidential campaign?

Question 2 Were you considering volunteering or being involved in a 2008 presidential campaign?

1. I voted "Yes '04, don't know '08".
After the 2004 fiasco, I made a vow that I will never again vote for a presidential candidate who's a member of the Ruling Class. It's a rigged game that the plutocracy runs to keep the masses deluded that this country is a democracy. It's a power struggle among the moneyed elite, it has very little if any relevance to OUR interests.

I'll continue to be politically involved on the local level where there's still a chance that a motivated and mobilized citizenry can have an effect. But I'll be damned if I'll send off any more of my hard-earned money or give of my time and energy to some millionaire whose first loyalty is to the exclusive club which controls the institutions of power.

4. Gee, I rather like that particular millionaire
I'm hoping for a chance to work for him again.

I voted yes and yes, regardless. I woke up and got involved this year, and plan to continue from local all the way up to national.

7. Well, you gotta do whatever feels right for you.
I remain unimpressed.

3. Yes
I helped call people to remind and encourage them to get out and vote. I will try to get involved in the 2008 Presidential election, but the Democratic Party need to make sure that people known how to get involved. I spent a large amount of time just trying to figure out how I could get involved.

5. I totally disagree with that assessment. Being born or earning
large amounts of money does not automatically negate an individual's concern for democracy, the environment, the poor, etc. It is more a matter of personal integrity, character and upbringing. In the case of Shrub, he obviously never had any character, being a possible sociopath, and the Stump developed the glad hand instead of integrity and finally he was bailed out of every debacle that he created by parents and Saudis. He is as phony as meat-filled veggie burger. Now some families tend more to public service, rich or no. John Kerry is a perfect example of a candidate who tried to run on issues and principles. He has a very strong congressional record of helping the every day sheeple and of protecting the environment. He credits his mother with the latter. Ditto Gore, Kennedy, Clark and many other distinguished citizens. We need to fight together to get honest voting. There is no doubt in my mind that Kerry won, probably big. The exit polls do not lie. When SLIME like Bush and Rove take on a campaign, there are no ground rules.
