4. While I consider...
... my present Congress critter certifiably insane, I doubt that my very conservative community would think I'm a better alternative to him. :)

6. I ran last time
Skeletons and all. It's a lot of work, and taking on a 20 year incumbent with $800,000 in the bank is no easy job.

Maybe if I'd gotten a little help from the DNC and DCCC things would have been different. I did get an offer of money and an endorsement from DFA, but, I'd already dropped out.

7. I thought I was going to lose my primary because I had only
$1000 bucks and he had 5K but I won...then I got NO help from anyone in the party and damned if the Coordinated campaign did not work against me and all the other dems running.

Kudos on you though!

enough.

21. yep.
honestly, tho, i don't think i have the temperament to run for office. i'll support whoever i like, who i think would be good for the position, and do art or whatever for political reasons, but i couldn't be an elected official.

10. Yeh, that's my post.
Yes, my Congressman is same ol' lame ol' Bartlett. I DID vote against him in 2004 and will keep doing it even if he runs against a frikkin' fiscus plant (remember the Awful Truth?). I'm only 23 and can't run anyway because I got no experience and have a long record of mental illness. Sorry.

in 2006 maybe?

16. I'll be 25 in Dec 2006 actually,
too young to run? Really don't want the media to see one of my crying fits or even worse to get into one on the Senate floor.

18. Well, too many skeletons in my closet, seriously.
It could hurt those closest to me as well as myself if some of the skeletons are let out.

13. honestly?
i'd vote for you over some of these shills we have in senate or house.

who cares if you have a history of mental illness? as long as you know the issues and have principles.

15. Thanks for your vote, but I
do not think many people would vote for an openly bisexual mentally ill Derryiac Democrat in the red 6th district of MD. I respect the sentiment to "Don't Just Vote, Run" as Dean puts it, but in the 6th district I got a snowball's chance in Hell.

Some districts just aren't winnable be a Democrats (just as some aren't winnable by a Republican).
