How's his credibility? There's another kinda well known blogger out there who has the unfortunate habit of posting teasers that never quite pan out and he used to get me going a lot. Not mentioning any names.....

So is this guy any good? What I'm reading on his site seems pretty accurate so far.

He is not a bullshit artist, like that other gay guy. He is real and he does follow the classic rules of journalism.

If nothing comes of this story(which I doubt...), I fully expect John will post something that honestly addresses it.

AMERICAblog has grown on me. John writes with an honesty and passion I like.

He did!! Brown was rambling a way to rationalize the story and John called it "hogwash"..he didn't do it in a confronting way to Brown but to what Brown said......best use of a word since someone used "skulduggery" when writing about the guy in the Ukraine being poisoned. hah

I think John has been around DC for some time.

James Dale Guckert's personal address is listed as 5721 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE 19807, the same address as was listed for the entity that held the sex sites. The personal address listing is as of June 1, 2004, and we've already been told that the Kennett Pike house was sold last summer. His SSN# is xxxxxxxx and his birthdate is May 22, 1957.

I found a military records site on line that will provide the public-record portion of his military file. It won't have anything with respect to a less-than-honorable discharge if that's what he got, but it should give a thumbnail sketch of when he joined, when he separated, what service he was in, where he worked, what his MOS was. Because it will be linked to his SSN, it will be verified for certain.

The good stuff is in confidential DoD files, and as of yet I don't know how to get those.
