Also, does it really matter who is in this position? I never hear from the Vice Chair, but maybe that should be changed. Personally, I think it should be someone who's on exactly the same page as Dean. Don't know anything about these folks though.

1. I don't know who is running but I do think it should be a minority
and/or a woman.

2. So far, those are the only people I've seen nominated.
One from Utah seemed a little too DLC for my tastes, but again, I know nothing about these people other than what I'm hearing today.

3. Right! Heard a black woman from Texas who lost her seat in the DeLay
redistricting massacre being interviewed on "Unfiltered" on AAR. I am embarrassed that I do not remember her name. They were discussing that exact point. The vice-chairman SHOULD be a woman..and a minority!

4. Ms. Woodside
From Utah.

Inspiring. Old Civil Rights era street fighter. Late to the game became a lawyer. Now lives in Utah. Understands rural, Red State America. Has a record of mounting full slates of candidates in local and state races where no slate at all had formerly been established.

I saw her speech. I love the woman.
